Here is a list of 13 things to make sure your website Don’t Need!

1. Don’t put text in all caps (No need to yell at your visitors)
2. Don’t use backgrounds that are difficult for your visitor to read the text (after all, they came to your site for the text not the graphics)
3. Don’t have too much on the site, no one likes clutter. If there is to much your visitor will feel overwhelmed and leave
4. Don’t underline text that isn’t a link (Your visitor will make an attempt to follow the link and won’t be able to, and is likely to become annoyed)
5. Don’t trust yourself (Complete a spell check)
6. Don’t make text to small
7. Don’t make text to large
8. Don’t have borders around images
9. Don’t make your users scroll horizontally
10. Don’t make text blink
11. Don’t use excessive flash & graphics (Your site visitor will get tired of waiting for your page to load & move on)
12. Counters for everyone to see (Do they really care?)
13. Too many external links (Do you want them to stay on your site?)
